DEFINITIONS
in these Terms & Conditions,

Standard clean describes vacuumed, surface cleaning, skirting boards and ledges work tops, inside windows, floors moped and bathroom cleaning.

Specialist Clean – describes cleaning in complex situations where the client may have confusion or agitation and/or the home is in greater than average disarray.

Organizing: – Includes organising food cupboards, clothing and laundry

Deep Cleanse – Blitz cleaning service includes: Removal of clutter, Cleansing of all surfaces, Clearing and cleaning of floors, Cleaning of doors, skirting boards and ledges, Deep bathroom toilet clean and shower.

“Regular Client” means a client who has booked a minimum of 4 cleans.
“One Off Client” means a client  who has booked between one and three cleans “Booking” means the use of one of our services on one particular occasion.

APPLICATIONS
All bookings for Space My Space services are made on these Terms & Conditions only to the exclusion of any other Terms & Conditions, whether written or oral. No alteration to the Terms & Conditions is valid unless contained in a letter signed on behalf of Space My Space by an authorised signatory.

PRICING & PAYMENT TERMS & ARRIVAL TIMES
Payment method & timing:
Regular clean and one off clean clients may pay in cash or by bank transfer.

Please contact for charging information, all work will be costed and an estimate provided.

If payment is not made we reserve the right to commence recovery proceedings against either the person, spouse, partner, company or social services, after having given formal notice to you of our intentions. All costs of such action including time spent by us on dealing with the matter to conclusion will be due and payable on demand in addition to the principal sum.

Organisation of laundry/food store and other household duties – work to be costed and estimate given

CANCELLATION / NON DELIVERY OF SERVICES
Due to the complexity of our cliental, we accept that occasional cancellation or rearranging will occur therefore no action will be taken on the first cancellation of services. However following this, a 24-hour notice must be given for rearranging or cancellation of services or 50% of the estimated cost charges will apply.

Later Payment: Social services will be charged at £50.00 per day until full payment is made.

Space My Space will endeavour to keep to all set times but cannot guarantee to meet all arrival and completion times.

Space My Space will not be liable for any delay to or cancellation of the services caused by circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to fire, flood, strike, traffic circumstances, lack of adequate power or breakage or failure of machinery or equipment).  In such circumstances Space My Space will use its best endeavours to arrange an alternative time suitable to both parties for the performance of its services. Where Space My Space fails to carry out an agreed service due to circumstances within our control, our liability shall be limited to providing the agreed service at no additional charge at a mutually convenient time and in no event shall Space My Space be liable for any other losses including loss of profit or consequential loss

WORKING CONDITIONS
Health & Safety
Due to the nature of our service, there are items of concern that may delay our cleaning service which includes but not limited to human/animal faeces, blood or vomit, sanitary items, tampons, used nappies, used contraceptives etc. For the protection of our staff such items will delay cleaning time due to safe removal if needed. Space My Space will also refuse to complete work if the Health and Safety of its staff is at risk. In such cases an appropriate charges.

Risk assessments will be requested from relevant professionals or family or undertaken by Space My Space prior to work taking place where deemed necessary by Space My Space.

CLIENT’S EQUIPMENTs
Space My Space agrees to fully respect any equipment belonging to the client.

LIABILITY
Key Holding
Space My Space undertakes to provide absolute security for your keys at all times. In the unlikely event of any keys being lost by our staff, we will make appropriate arrangements as soon as reasonably possible. Space My Space shall not be liable for any loss or damage as a result of a delay caused by you.

Complaints
In the event of you being dissatisfied with the service you have received from Space My Space, you should contact us within 48 hours. Space My Space will endeavour to ensure that any concerns and complaints are resolved as quickly as possible.

Standard and Specialist Cleaning
In the event of damage or loss as a result of negligence, the liability of Space My Space shall be limited ( at Space My Space discretion ) to the repair or the replacement cost of the item, taking into account its age and condition. Space My Space shall not in any event be liable for any loss of profit.

USE OF CLIENT INFORMATION
Any information you give will be held and used by Space My Space to perform the business for which we are registered. We WILL NOT pass on any of your details to any other company or 3rd parties unless we have your permission.
